We are kicking things off with our Kiteboarding range and have planned  SUP, SURF and SKATE products.

Lee-profie-imageHell-Kite-skulls-NZ001Founder: Lee McClelland, that's me.
Having decided to develop New Zealand's own board riders company, I better give you a brief bio.
I'm New Zealand born and raised with Sailing, Surfing and Paragliding and a passion for the outdoors in my blood.
Worked for 17 years in CAD design + a further 13+ years of Kiteboarding & brand development.

I have been actively involved in the Training, Retail and Distribution of Kiteboarding products since 1999.

Being responsible for developing the brand means I get to sign off everything. From Team riders, image, pricing and distribution model it's me you talk to.

mat-wipika-airblastKMat-Pendle-24ITE DESIGN GURU - Mat Pendle.
He is the genius behind the aerodynamics and patents on our Skull kite. He is a brilliant kite designer based in Mauritius. He developed and surf tested all the prototypes there. Mat like me, has a long history in the sport. He was a shareholder in 'Wipika', the first ever kiteboard company. Then 'Takoon', a french brand owned by 'BIC' one of the worlds largest watersports companies. He also founded and designed 'Globe Rider Kites'. Being based in hard core surf meca Mauritius has given him the edge in designing finely tuned, balanced and surf tuff kites. Making him a perfect fit for the Hell Board Riders range.
